About Wholesome Play
Wholesome Play was founded by Bella in 2022, a year after she welcomed her first child into the world. With over a decade of experience, a Certificate 3 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Bella is deeply passionate about providing children with enriching, high-quality experiences that effectively support their developmental, emotional, and social wellbeing.
The birth of her first child in 2021 opened her eyes to the vital importance of connection, particularly for new mothers navigating the early stages of parenthood. She recognised that when mothers come together, they cultivate a nurturing environment where they can offer each other invaluable support and a profound sense of security.
Wholesome Play was created with the heartfelt intention of bringing parents and their children together to foster a strong sense of community connection while providing children with a dedicated space to engage, learn, and develop their essential skills.
When Bella and her family made the significant move to the Southern Highlands in 2022, shortly after launching Wholesome Play from the backyard of her parents' house, the profound need for belonging and connection became even more apparent. This sense of community prompted them to actively seek out ways to create their own vibrant village within their new town, fostering relationships and establishing roots in their fresh environment.
Wholesome Play believes that early childhood is consistently regarded as the most important time of an individual’s life journey. This is a pivotal period where vital social skills are developed, personal identity is shaped, resilience is built, and foundational language skills are created. The early stages of life are experiences that should be cherished, nurtured, and filled with love, unwavering support, and genuine happiness.
Bella strives to create an inclusive space that nurtures children during their formative years and tirelessly supports parents, no matter what stage of parenting they find themselves in. Wholesome Play is truly a welcoming place where everyone belongs and can thrive together.
